The Story Behind the Cookies
Every great tradition has a simple beginning, and for Team Summit, it all started with cookies.
At the beginning of every mountain bike season, Coach Tyler had a tradition: he would bring a batch of his top-secret homemade cookies to share with his riders. It was his way of kicking off the season—a sweet treat to break the ice, build community, and celebrate the adventure ahead.
The cookies quickly became legendary. The kids LOVED them. So much, that it wasn't long before a new tradition was born: every season would now officially start with Coach Tyler’s cookies.
A few years ago, the kids had an idea: "What if we shared these cookies with the rest of Summit County?"
And just like that, the Team Summit Cookie Fundraiser was born.
Now, every year, the Team Summit riders gather at Cool River Coffee House in Breckenridge, roll up their sleeves, and bake hundreds of cookies together. Then, on pickup day, they personally deliver cookies by hand or bike to supporters all over Summit County—spreading not just the love of bikes and cookies, but the spirit of community, teamwork, and gratitude.
Over the years, your support through this fundraiser has helped us:
Fund trips and overnight camps
Provide scholarships for young riders who need support
Purchase essential gear like bike racks and indoor trainers
This year, funds raised will help fuel something extra special: An end-of-season camp trip and celebration in Summit County! Our riders will come together to ride bikes, eat food (and of course—more cookies!), and reflect on an amazing season of growth, grit, and community.
We believe food and bikes are some of the most powerful ways to connect people, and this fundraiser is a reflection of that spirit.
Please consider supporting the Team Summit Cookie Fundraiser. Every cookie you order helps fuel the future of our young shredders—and keeps this sweet tradition alive for seasons to come.
Thank you for being part of our story. 🍪❤️🚴♂️

About The Team Summit Youth Mountain Bike Program
Team Summit is a youth development organization empowering our athletes to realize and celebrate their personal podiums through athletics, education, and life skills by participating in innovative programming at our world-class venues. https://teamsummit.org/program/team-summit-mtb/ aims to provide safe, fun, and enjoyable experiences to help develop our athletes into lifelong cyclists and build skills that last a lifetime.
Our fundraising goal is $2,000! Biked Goods will donate 50% of sales to fund the team’s end-of-season party celebration and overnight camp trip in Summit County. There’ll be bikes, food, more cookies, baking classes, and a camp trip to help us celebrate the end of our season together.
